Collinets Industries (“Collinets,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard information obtained through collinets.com, our ordering and customer-support services, and our SMS and text-messaging programs.

Using our website does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive marketing text messages. Consent to receive marketing text messages must be provided separately and is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

Contact and identification information: Your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and account information.

Order and payment information: Products purchased, order history, transaction records, payment method information, returns, and warranty claims. Payment information may be processed by third-party payment processors.

SMS and messaging information: Your mobile telephone number, message content, message history, delivery information, responses, and requests for customer support.

SMS consent information: Records showing when, where, and how you opted in to receive text messages, the disclosures presented when you opted in, and any HELP, STOP, unsubscribe, or other preference requests.

Website and technical information: Your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referring website, cookies, and similar information.

Customer-service information: Information you provide when contacting us with a question, request, complaint, review, return, or warranty claim.

Please do not send payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through SMS.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use your information to:

Process, fulfill, deliver, and manage orders.

Provide order confirmations, shipping notices, delivery updates, return information, and other transactional communications.

Respond to questions, requests, complaints, and customer-support inquiries.

Create and manage customer accounts and order histories.

Send marketing messages, promotions, product updates, or special offers when you have provided the required consent.

Maintain records of SMS consent, preferences, and opt-out requests.

Personalize and improve our website, products, communications, and customer experience.

Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.

Protect the rights, property, and safety of Collinets Industries, our customers, and others.

3. SMS and Text-Messaging Program

When you affirmatively opt in to a Collinets Industries SMS program, we may send you recurring text messages at the mobile number you provide. Messages may include order information, customer-service communications, product announcements, promotions, special offers, and other information described when you opt in.

The following terms apply to our SMS programs:

Consent: You will receive marketing text messages only after providing affirmative consent where required. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

Automated messages: Some messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity, requests, and our promotional calendar.

Charges: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile service plan.

Opting out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a Collinets Industries text message. We may send one final message confirming your opt-out. After that confirmation, we will not send additional marketing text messages unless you opt in again.

Help: Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at 832-407-1666 or sales@collinets.com.

Other opt-out methods: We will honor other reasonable requests to revoke SMS consent when required by applicable law. You may also contact us using the information in Section 12.

Opting out of marketing text messages will not prevent us from responding to a message you initiate or from sending communications that are required to complete a transaction, comply with law, protect an account, or address an emergency, when such communications are legally permitted.

4. Mobile Information and SMS Privacy

We do not sell, rent, or provide your mobile telephone number, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose mobile information to service providers that act on our behalf and help us operate our messaging program, such as SMS platforms, telecommunications providers, customer-support providers, and technology vendors. These providers may use the information only to perform services for Collinets Industries and may not use it for their own marketing.

SMS opt-in information and consent are specific to Collinets Industries. They will not be transferred to another business for that business’s independent marketing.

5. Other Disclosures of Personal Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: To payment processors, shipping carriers, website-hosting providers, IT providers, analytics providers, customer-support providers, and other companies that perform services on our behalf.

Legal and safety purposes: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, property, safety, or prevent fraud and unlawful activity.

Business transactions: In connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction. SMS consent will not be treated as transferable consent for another business’s independent marketing.

At your direction: When you ask or authorize us to disclose specific information.

Service providers receiving personal information must use it only for the services they provide to us, subject to applicable contractual and legal restrictions.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Complete the purposes described in this policy.

Fulfill orders and provide requested services.

Maintain business and transaction records.

Honor opt-out and do-not-contact requests.

Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

Meet legal, tax, accounting, security, and regulatory obligations.

We may retain a record of an SMS opt-out request after other information is deleted so that we can continue honoring the request.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These safeguards may include SSL encryption, access controls, secure payment processing, system monitoring, and vendor-security requirements.

No website, storage system, email, or SMS transmission is completely secure. SMS messages are not generally end-to-end encrypted. You should therefore avoid sending sensitive financial, identity, or authentication information through text messages.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

Request access to personal information we maintain about you.

Request correction of inaccurate information.

Request deletion of personal information.

Request a portable copy of certain information.

Opt out of marketing emails or text messages.
